
The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating Albert Joe Cardenas, wanted on assault-related charges.
GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas — The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted fugitive.
Deputies are searching for Albert Joe Cardenas, who is wanted on charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and family violence assault with prior convictions, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Joshua Ray urged residents to report any information that could help deputies make an arrest.
“Strong enforcement starts with tough laws and zero tolerance for criminals—but it succeeds only through partnership,” said Sheriff Joshua Ray. “Our deputies will relentlessly pursue fugitives, and we need our community’s eyes and tips to bring them to justice. Together, we’ll keep Guadalupe County safe.”
Anyone who knows Cardenas’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office at (830) 379-1224.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers at 1-877-403-8477. Cash rewards may be available for tips that lead to an arrest.
Officials remind the public not to approach a wanted person.
