Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office arrests man wanted for manslaughter, theft in Cibolo

Authorities say his previous criminal history includes weapons charges, manufacturing/delivery of narcotics, multiple thefts, failure to identify, and bail jumping.

SAN ANTONIO — A wanted man with an extensive criminal history was arrested Friday, according to the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office. 

Authorities said Aris Jamal Ransom-Powell was wanted on a motion to revoke bond for manslaughter and theft. His previous criminal history includes weapons charges, manufacturing/delivery of narcotics, multiple thefts, failure to identify, and bail jumping.

According to GCSO, their SWAT team along with SAPD executed warrants on Powell along the 300 block of Hing Loop in Cibolo, where a stolen vehicle was also located and seized. 

Authorities said Powell was taken into custody without incident.
