H-E-B has once again received praise for its customer service and more in a study that ranked grocery stores and markets across the United States. Market Force Information found that this year’s top grocery brands were Trader Joe’s, H-E-B, and Woodman’s Markets.
The business, which aims to help organizations with performance reviews, concluded its study earlier this year and pushed it in a news release on Tuesday, April 11. Between November 15, 2022 and January 24, 2023, the researchers surveyed 6,555 U.S. customers and asked them about their grocery shopping habits, including brand preference, customer experience, brand engagement, and brand awareness.
Market Force Information named the top grocery brands based on who scored the highest on the customer loyalty index, which is a blended score combining “satisfaction with the most recent visit” and the “likelihood to recommend.”
From the surveys, H-E-B came in second with a score of 83%, while Trader Joe’s came in first at 84%. Woodman’s Market came in third with a score of 81%. Researchers also asked customers if they perceive their grocer of choice to be “best in class.” For that accolade, two brands stood out above the rest. Wegman’s came in first with 76% agreement, and H-E-B was a close second with 73% agreement.
It’s no surprise H-E-B was ranked high in a survey about grocery stores. In February, Dunnhumby, a U.K. based global consumer research company, named H-E-B as the best grocery retailer in the United States. The survey uses grocery customer surveys and financial reports to rank the top-performing grocers nationally.
No store really does more.
