The filing labels the new project name as, “HEB Austin 13 Remodel & Expansion.” The expansion will bring the H-E-B Bluestein store to 52,487 square feet, according to the TDLR. MySA has reached out to H-E-B for more details on the remodel.
Construction on the project is expected to begin in March 2026 and be completed by February 2027, according to the TDLR. The H-E-B at Ed Bluestein is located in the University Hills neighborhood slightly north of downtown Austin, right off the U.S. Highway 183 Toll in the Springdale Shopping Center.
