Not even a month after H-E-B launched its first brand shop just outside of the Alamo City, the locally-based grocery store is finally catering to more of its superfans by opening a brand shop at its largest San Antonio store on the Far Westside. Superfans of the grocery store can now grab those H-E-B brand shoes and tortilla koozies at the H-E-B plus! at Bandera Road and Loop 1604, according to a news release.
H-E-B first launched the brand shop in mid-November at a store in its birthplace, Kerrville. For about a month it was the only location where you could grab the H-E-B shoes that look like Converse sneakers, “I Love My H-E-B” socks, H-E-B clothing and a koozie that looks like the H-E-B bakery tortillas.
H-E-B also rolled out brand stores at its new Dallas-Fort Worth stores in Plano and Frisco.
Now, superfans in San Antonio can get their hands on T-shirts featuring a vintage H-E-B storefront, a heart-shaped sticker declaring love for H-E-B Meal Simple brisket queso, or a baby onesie with an H-E-B badge that reads “H-E-Baby” at the Bandera and Loop 1604 location. If you plan on doing a little holiday shopping, you can definitely find plenty must-have gifts and stocking stuffers.
The brand shop is open now at the Bandera location. H-E-B says in the news release that it plans to bring H-E-B Brand Shops to more stores across the state, starting early next year.
