Hard launch: Championship-winning Clark HS basketball alumna Arianna Roberson dating NBA star

The San Antonio native announced her relationship with Cooper Flagg in a TikTok that’s since been seen more than 10 million times.

SAN ANTONIO — One of them is an award-winning basketball player who defined their legacy by bringing a championship to their school. The other is Cooper Flagg.

Arianna Roberson, a Clark High School alumna who helped the Cougars to a 34-3 record and the school’s first girls’ basketball state title in 2023, blocked 2.5 shots per game for Duke in the Women’s NCAA Tournament but is allowing the NBA’s newly minted Rookie of the Year into her heart.

Roberson and Flagg made their relationship official in a TikTok that’s since garnered more than 10 million views. Flagg, himself a Duke alumnus, just finished his first season for the Dallas Mavericks after being drafted No. 1 overall last summer.

The post, featuring a remix of Nicki Minaj’s “Feeling Myself,” cycles quickly through clips of the couple dancing, holding hands and spending time with each other.

Roberson graduated from Clark in 2024 before joining Duke.

A San Antonio native, she won the MVP award en route to winning it all with the Cougars when they triumphed over two-time defending champion DeSoto in the UIL Class 6-A Championship. She also won district Defensive Player of the Year honors after tallying 15 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks and two steals a game in her junior year.

She redshirted in her first season with Duke and went on to average eight points, 5.7 rebounds 1.3 blocks and 0.9 steals in the Blue Devils’ 2025-26 campaign, which culminated in an Elite Eight appearance.

Flagg averaged 21 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game en route to being named Rookie of the Year.

While Spurs fans in San Antonio may find it hard to tolerate Flagg in the coming years as the Mavs look to build around the young star, at least there’s something for which the Silver & Black faithful will be able to cheer him on off the court.
