HOUSTON — A toddler was struck and killed by a vehicle in southwest Harris County Saturday, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
It happened along Cook Road near the intersection of West Belfort and South Dairy Ashford.
In a post to X Saturday afternoon, Gonzalez said the 18-month-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene. Gonzalez said a family member was the one behind the wheel.
