‘Heavy law enforcement’ presence at Schertz Whataburger, police confirm

SCHERTZ, Texas — In a social media post by Schertz Police Department, officials confirmed a heavy law enforcement presence at a Whataburger.

According to police, officers responded to a disturbance call Wednesday night at the Whataburger located at 5570 FM3009 where the scene remains active at this time.

It is not clear at this time what caused the disturbance or if any arrests have been made. Police said there is no threat to the public and the restaurant is closed.
