SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs original fanatics, the Baseline Bums, have announced they are looking for new members just in time for the new season ahead.

According to the Bums, those looking to join must call 210-380-1916 for more information. Also, should you become a member, you will receive perks such as fan shop discounts, and flexible payment plans for a season ticket.

The Bums have been with the team since 1973 and are notorious for their antice during games and high spirits for the Silver and Black no matter what the outcome of a game.

Also set to debut this new season is Victor Wembanyama’s own “ultra fan” section with fan brining out more energy for the team.

SPURS’ JUAN NUNEZ TO UNDERGO SECOND KNEE SURGERY

Spurs’ Juan Nunez (drafted in the second round in 2024 by the Pacers then traded to the Spurs along with cash in exchange for the 35th overall pick, Johnny Furphy) is set to undergo a second right knee surgery.

According to reports, the operation is needed due to an inflammatory reaction after his first knee surgery in March 2024 to correct a ruptured external meniscus. This surgery will be on the same knee.

Since being drafted, he’s been playing with FC Barcelona. He averaged 5.0 points per game and 3.4 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 2024-25 before suffering the knee injury.
