Here’s when the USA takes on Italy in the Olympics women’s hockey quarterfinal

Team USA dominated early rounds at the 2026 Winter Olympics and now faces Italy in the women’s hockey quarterfinal.

MILAN, Metropolitan City of Milan — The women’s hockey playoffs are underway at the Milan Cortina Olympic Games, and Team USA is looking to keep their win streak going.

Their next game, which is the quarterfinal for the 2026 Winter Olympics in women’s hockey, will be played Friday, Feb. 13 at 3:10 p.m. ET. Team USA will battle home team Italy in the Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.

The game comes after Team USA defeated Canada, Switzerland and Finland 5-0 and Czechia 5-1 during the preliminary rounds.

Team USA is the favorite to win in women’s hockey, and their recent games only highlight why that is.

The University of Wisconsin’s Caroline Harvey had a goal and two assists, with Badger teammates Laila Edwards and Kristen Simms also scoring. The goal was Edwards’ first in her Olympic debut. She is the first Black woman to represent the U.S. in women’s hockey.

University of Minnesota captain Abbey Murphy set up three goals.

Aerin Frankel stopped 20 shots for her third win and second shutout in her first Olympic tournament. And even 36-year-old captain Hilary Knight added an assist — the 32nd Olympic point of her career to tie Jenny Potter for most by a U.S. women’s hockey player.

The women’s team is trying to make a comeback for gold this year. In 2022, Canada narrowly defeated Team USA 3-2 to secure gold and keep Team USA with silver.

How to watch the women’s hockey quarterfinal match
