SAN ANTONIO — If your holiday spirit isn’t quite ready to clock out, La Panadería has you covered.
The beloved San Antonio bakery is now taking pre-orders for its traditional Rosca de Reyes, just in time for Día de los Reyes on Jan. 6, a celebration that honors the Three Kings and officially wraps up the Christmas season in many Latin American and Spanish cultures.
Pre-orders open Tuesday, Dec. 30, at all La Panadería locations, with pickup options available from Jan. 3 through Jan. 6.
The Rosca de Reyes is a festive, ring-shaped bread decorated with colorful candied fruit and packed with meaning, symbolizing unity, generosity and community. It’s a staple of the holiday, often shared with family and friends as part of the celebration.
Customers can order a family-size Rosca for $29 or opt for a six-pack of mini Roscas, also priced at $29. Individual mini Roscas are available in-store year-round.
According to La Panadería, Día de los Reyes offers a chance to keep the joy going a little longer with good food, good company and a tradition that brings people together.
