SAN ANTONIO — A 9-year-old girl from Venezuela has died after she tried to cross the Rio Grande in Del Rio, according to Mexican authorities.

The Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department is investigating a string of vehicle thefts and burglaries. A 19-year-old male and 16-year-old male were arrested, investigators say, but police are still searching for more suspects.
