All while a mother and her twin daughters were asleep inside.

Maria was shocked to see the suspect loading up a shopping cart with snacks and drinks that she sells from home.

She came face-to-face with the burglar and asked while he was stealing her things. She said he pushed the shopping cart toward her and then ran out of the apartment.

He got away with about $600 worth of property.

Maria told KHOU 11 that the experience was terrifying.
