While it’s still unclear what started the fire on Lyric Avenue, a woman believed to be the homeowner has been detained as arson investigators make the scene.
SAN ANTONIO — A homeowner has been detained after officials believe she might have started a fire in her south-side home, SAFD says.
Fire officials were called to the 300 block of Lyric Avenue around 5:28 p.m. Monday for a “fully involved structure fire.” SAFD was able to quickly knock down the fire.
While it’s still unclear what started the fire, a woman believed to be the homeowner has been detained as arson investigators are making the scene. Officials believe the fire started in one of the front bedrooms.
No injuries were reported.
