
Police say they gathered enough evidence to arrest 24-year-old Thomas William Ricker Hill. He was reportedly arrested Thursday morning.
HONDO, Texas — A former Hondo teacher is facing charges, accused of sexual misconduct with a student after an alleged incident at Hondo High School, police said.
Hondo Police Department said in a news release it was contacted by Hondo ISD about an allegation of misconduct involving a Hondo High School teacher. Police say they gathered enough evidence to arrest 24-year-old Thomas William Ricker Hill. He was reportedly arrested Thursday morning and charged with the following offenses:
- Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact (Second-Degree Felony)
- Sexual Performance by a Child (Second-Degree Felony)
- Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student (Second-Degree Felony)
Police say he was booked into the Medina County Jail and he no longer employed by Hondo ISD as of Wednesday.
No further information was given about the incident that led to the charged and Hondo police released the following statement:
