Honduran felon on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List arrested in San Antonio

The Honduran immigrant has an extensive history of being deported from the United States dating back to 2010, according to DPS.

SAN ANTONIO —  The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says they have arrested a criminal illegal immigrant from Honduras at a job site in San Antonio.

On Friday morning, DPS arrested 33-year-old Robert Bustrillo-Vasquiez, a Honduran felon from Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List, while he was on a job site in San Antonio.. Bustrillo-Vasquiez was allegedly DPS’ featured fugitive for the month of September.

Bustrillo-Vasquiez has been wanted out of Bexar County since Aug. 11, 2025, for aggravated kidnapping bodily injury/sexual abuse, aggravated sexual assault and smuggling of persons.

Authorities said Bustrillo-Vasquiez has an extensive history of being deported from the United States dating back to 2010, with his most recent deportation happening back in February 2018.

Bustrillo-Vasquiez served time in federal prison for felony reentry of a deported alien; along with being arrested several times by the Austin Police Department for assault between 2013 and 2014.
