Big Texas Terror will be held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
SAN ANTONIO — What’s your favorite scary movie? Because odds are one of the film stars could be making an appearance at San Antonio’s premiere horror-con.
For the first-time-ever, Big Texas Terror will be held in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and on Sunday, June 15 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The chilling event is ideal for horror enthusiasts looking to meet one of the iconic stars. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend celebrity panels, professional photo ops, autograph sessions (similar to meet-and-greets) and the chance to browse several vendor exhibits.
Autographs will be sold at each celebrity’s table. Attendees can bring personal items or each celebrity may provide photographs to be signed – which are included with the autograph price. Autograph prices can be found here.
Big Texas Terror officials say the actors and actresses will sign autographs, take selfies or phone photos during show hours when they are not attending a professional photo op, panel, or on a break.
Attendees who choose a professional photo op will receive a high quality 8″×10″ print of the photo. Each photo op can include two adults and up to three children under 16. The photo op is not considered a meet-and-greet and is typically done in quick fashion.
Several of the celebrities will also take selfies or cell phone photos in the designated celebrity area for a specified price. According to Big Texas Terror, this is usually a cheaper alternative and is sometimes packaged as a combo with an autograph by the celebrity.
Most of the celebrities only accept cash but ATMs will be onsite.
Adults tickets for Saturday start at $46 online. Tickets for children are priced at $15. Attendees can also purchase tickets at the door.
Attendees can also dress in cosplay but must not display nudity as the con is a family-friendly event.
