SAN ANTONIO — Workers are fixing a highway sign after a crash took place early Friday morning leading to massive traffic delays, according to officials.

TxDOT says the southbound lanes at Rigsby are closed due to the crash. They advise all traffic to exit at FM 1346 as the closure is expected for five hours.

The crash took place on SE Loop 410 and Rigsby Avenue around 3 a.m. Friday.

Police say a person was driving southbound on Loop 410 when she tried to take an exit early and crashed into an overhead sign support column.
