
Officials say the fire got into the attic space, which was difficult to get to due to the house “not being up to code” and having awkward construction.
SAN ANTONIO — Four residents have been displaced after their home caught fire Thursday night, according to officials.
At about 11 p.m., firefighters were called to the 9200 block of Silver Arrow Street. Once there, they found a heavy fire showing from a bedroom in the house.
Officials say the fire got into the attic space, which was difficult to get to due to the house “not being up to code” and having awkward construction. Despite this, firefighters were able to knock the fire down.
The four residents were able to get out safe with no injuries. Officials say the residents will be displaced.
It’s currently unclear what started the fire.
There is also no word on the damage estimate caused by the fire.
