COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Two Texas teams have made the College Football Playoffs and for once one of them doesn’t reside in Austin.
The 12-1 Texas Tech Red Raiders secured the No. 4 seed in the playoffs and have a bye for the first round. They’ll play in the Orange Bowl on Jan. 1, 2026, in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The 11-1 Texas A&M Aggies fell to the No. 7 seed after finishing the season losing to the Longhorns, costing them a spot in the SEC Championship. They will play the 10-2 Miami Hurricanes on Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. in College Station.
If you want to attend this huge moment in A&M history at Kyle Field, it’ll cost you a pretty penny.
According to SeatGeek, the cheapest ticket is currently $521 as of Monday afternoon. The most expensive is a little more than $15,500.
Looking ahead to Texas Tech’s game in Miami Gardens, those cheapest tickets are currently $272. The most expensive is a little more than $19,500. However, those prices are bound to go up once we find out who the Raiders have to play.
The No. 13 Texas Longhorns will be playing in the Citrus Bowl against No. 18 Michigan in Orlando on Dec. 31. The cheapest tickets for that one is $72. The most expensive is a little more than $3,500.
