How to get free food at Max & Louie’s while cheering on the Spurs Sunday

Spurs fans are invited to Max & Louie’s Big Takeover on March 1.

SAN ANTONIO — Spurs fans, get ready for squad brunch this weekend!

The Spurs are hosting an official fan takeover at Max & Louie’s New York Diner on Sunday, March 1, ahead of their matchup against the New York Knicks.

The fun kicks off at 11 a.m., with the first 150 fans in Spurs gear scoring a free French Toast Plate (limit one per table). At noon, the next 150 fans who check in on the patio can grab a “Dream Team-sicle” mocktail or a scoop of Melvin’s Ice Cream—on the house.

There will also be a live DJ, fan photo ops, and take home Spurs swag. Brunch reservations can be made in advance through the diner’s waitlist.

This event coincides with Spurs Week Paris, a weeklong celebration bringing the Spurs experience to fans overseas. From South Texas to the streets of Paris, the team is connecting its global fanbase through food, music, and basketball.
