SAN ANTONIO — Traffic is flowing along Interstate 35 near downtown San Antonio once again after a police situation shut down a roughly one-mile stretch of the corridor in both directions Tuesday evening.
The San Antonio Police Department posted on Facebook around 7 p.m. that northbound and southbound I-35 was shut down between Highway 90 and Division Avenue as law enforcement responded to the area. At 8:27 p.m., Chief William McManus said an individual was in custody; no was one was reported injured.
SAPD updated its Facebook post to say the interstate was back open.
