SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio ICE HSI office was evacuated Tuesday after being targeted with “an envelope containing a suspicious powder,” an ICE spokesperson says.

Out of precaution, office personnel were evacuated out of the office located at 1015 Jackson Keller Road, and authorities analyzed the substance for further investigation.

“This deliberate act of intimidation has been referred to the FBI for a comprehensive investigation,” ICE says. “No further details will be disclosed at this time.”

ICE says the incident “was a blatant attempt to disrupt ICE operations and endanger its personnel.”
