If you’re looking for Lamar Jackson during halftime of the Ravens-Texans game tomorrow, check the BeyHive

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said he was going to be watching Beyoncé’s halftime performance at NRG Stadium Christmas Day.

HOUSTON — If the Baltimore Ravens need to make halftime adjustments in their game against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium on Christmas Day, someone may need to fill quarterback Lamar Jackson in afterward. That’s because the former two-time league MVP will be part of the BeyHive at the break.

During a news conference on Monday, Jackson was asked if he was disappointed that he’d have to miss Houston native Beyoncé’s halftime performance.

“Nah, because I’m going to go out there and watch,” he said to the laughter of reporters. “I’m going to go out there and watch, man. First time seeing Beyoncé perform and it’s at our game? I’m going to go out and watch. Sorry (Coach John) Harbaugh. Sorry. Sorry, fellas.”

He was then asked if it depended on a lead if his team had one.

“Nah, man I’m not even thinking bout the lead,” he said. “I was just thinking about seeing Beyoncé for the first time. Not saying it like that. No disrespect. I know how people can take things.”

So, will Jackson be catching the halftime show?  You can watch the game – and the Beyoncé performance – live on KHOU 11 on Christmas Day. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.

The Texans come into the game 9-6. The Ravens are 10-5. It’s a matchup of two teams that may end up facing each other again in the playoffs.
