SAN ANTONIO — Armed robbers hit two San Antonio businesses in late March, and they’re all caught on camera.
One armed robbery happened at an IHOP off South West Military after an attempted dine and dash – the other at a retail shop off Basse Rd.
In the early morning of March 20, authorities say a worker at the IHOP believed two men were going to dine and dash. She quickly went to her manager about the issue.
That’s when the victim went to the booth to offer assistance when the second suspect allegedly flashed a gun from his waistband.
In fear for her life, she reportedly rushed herself and her employees to the back of the store, to which both suspects ran off without paying.
Then on March 29, two suspects, reportedly with a long gun and a hand gun approached a man on Basse Road.
Authorities said the victim was grabbing deposit money from the trunk of his vehicle in front of a retail shop on Basse Road.
The first suspect allegedly grabbed the money bag and drove off in a white sedan. The other, masked, allegedly pointed a long gun at a security officer off to the side.
