SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Fire Department says one person has been hospitalized after two-vehicle crash on the northwest side.
Around 8:30 p.m., officials responded to Guilbeau Road after receiving reports of a crash.
SAPD says a Volkawagen “abruptly changed lanes” and clipped a Kia in front. The Volkswagen then lost control, veered into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with the Kia.
Joe Arrington with SAFD said that the driver of the Kia, a 19-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition due to injuries suffered during the head-on collision. At last check they were in stable condition.
