SAN ANTONIO — An explosion at a far west side construction site prompted a large emergency response and evacuation Friday night, leaving one person with possible serious injuries.
The incident was reported at around 10:19 p.m. in the 3800 block of Wiseman Boulevard, near U.S. Highway 151 and Loop 1604.
Firefighters responded to the scene and are investigating what caused the explosion. Authorities said a generator may have been involved but the exact cause remains unclear at this time.
The site appeared to have been evacuated as emergency crews responded to the incident.
Officials have not yet released additional details.
