Is this yours? | Volunteer found beloved stuffed animal amongst debris from flood

A San Antonio volunteer who was helping with search and recovery in Texas Hill Country found this little lamb and would like to return it to the family who lost it.

KERR COUNTY, Texas — Alexis found a little lamb whose fleece was covered in mud and leaves, and not even close to being white as snow.

Alexis Moriarty, a volunteer from San Antonio, says she was searching after the flood and found this lovey in between Center Point and Comfort. She shared the images of the little lamb in the Facebook group Kerrville Tx Community Group.

After a bath and a spin through her washing machine, the little lamb has been restored to it’s most adorable cuteness and now Alexis would like to know where it came from and hopefully return the beloved stuffie to it’s owner.

“We’ve brought it home, washed it, and would love to return it to its family after everything Texas has been through,” said Alexis. “Can anyone help us find the owner of this lamb?”

It would make for a happy ending if this child’s comfort animal could be returned to whoever lost it. It might be one of the only items they have left after the flooding ripped through the Texas Hill Country on Friday.

“Some of these families have lost everything and I would want even a little thing back because it means everything to them,” said Alexis.
