HOUSTON — The Texans are 0-2 going into their first divisional matchup of the season this week. Houston will take on the Jaguars in Jacksonville.
So what does Houston need to do to get in the win column? Texans icon J.J. Watt has one thing they shouldn’t do.
“You have to remember that they lost to the Rams 14-9 in a very tight game, the defense holding them to 14, and then you lose to the Bucs on basically the last drive of the game where a couple of different things could have gone your way and didn’t,” Watt told KHOU 11’s Jason Bristol Thursday. “So those are two very good teams and the first-place schedule in the NFL is always hard. But the thing that you can’t do is think that the world is falling and try and fix all these different problems and try and create problems that aren’t even there. Those are two football games that are extremely, extremely close. You’re right there. It’s not a mass fix situation. Just go to work, fix some little things, be a little more efficient, everything will be perfect.”
Watt, who now calls games for CBS Sports, was at DICK’s Sporting Goods House of Sports Baybrook for “Pack Wars,” an event where kids open trading card packs and compete for prizes..
