
The Spurs’ 8-game winning streak is snapped with a home loss to the Jazz.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs lost at home to the Jazz 127-114, snapping their 8-game winning streak. Back into the starting unit, Victor Wembanyama led the team with 32 points and seven rebounds.
Luke Kornet had seven points and eight rebounds. Dylan Harper scored seven and handed out a career-high 12 assists, while Keldon Johnson recorded 27 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Harrison Barnes added three points. Stephon Castle had 20 points and seven assists. Devin Vassell added 11.
The Spurs are 23-8 and will next host the Cavaliers on Monday night.

Mitch Johnson:
“They (Utah) obviously get credit for their production and their performance, but when you say evaluate ourselves – pretty disappointed in quite a few things, the game plan execution in terms of just not being connected on very simple things that we do every game that weren’t necessarily pertinent to just the Utah Jazz, but the Utah Jazz took advantage of that and crushed us when we made mistakes.”
Keldon Johnson:
“I feel like tonight, I feel like we didn’t deserve it, and from top to bottom, I feel like we didn’t deserve it. I feel we’ll make those proper adjustments. “We have a standard, and I feel like we uphold that standard, and we’re going to continue to hold ourselves to a certain standard as a whole organization, as a team, everybody, so we will do that.”
