SAN ANTONIO — If you ever wanted to see Jeff Goldblum in the Alamo City, life, uh… finds a way.
Goldblum and his band are set to entertain fans with an “evening of classical jazz” on Sept. 11 at the Majestic Theatre.
Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra was launched 30 years ago and have been playing contemporary arrangements of classic jazz and American Songbook standards for audiences all over the world. They’ve released four albums that have featured artists like Miley Cyrus and Kelly Clarkson. Their fourth album, Still Blooming, was released in April and features Goldblum’s co-stars in Wicked Ariana Grande and Cynthia Eviro.
“The recording sessions with these wonderfully talented artists have been tremendously rewarding but I also have a special passion for the live shows that the MSO does and for that chance to connect with audiences,” Goldblum said.
Goldblum is known for roles in Jurassic Park, Independence Day, Thor: Ragnorak among other movies. He is currently playing the Wizard of Oz in the Wicked film series.
