Jeremy Sochan lands in Manila; Registration open for Spurs Summer camps

The NBA taps Spurs’ Jeremy Sochan to lead the Rising Stars Invitational in Manila.

SAN ANTONIO — The NBA announced that San Antonio Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan will headline the NBA Rising Stars Invitational Philippines Qualifiers in Metro Manila from Wednesday, May 7 to Saturday, May 10.

He received a hero’s welcome from fans once he landed in Manila.

Fans have welcomed the Spurs forward with open arms as he is there to participate in the league’s first regional high-school basketball tournament. It will feature boys’ and girls’ teams from 10 countries and territories across Asia-Pacific competing in Singapore from Wednesday, June 25, to Sunday, June 29, as part of a multi-day immersive basketball and entertainment festival. 

REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR 2025 SPURS SUMMER BASKETBALL CAMPS

Spurs Sports Academy announced their 2025 Spurs Summer Basketball Camps and is inviting youth athletes to register in San Antonio and Austin. Presented by Barcode, this fun and competitive basketball learning experience is ideal for children who want to learn the basics of basketball or improve their skills. Registration is now open at Spurs.com/camps

According to the team, select Spurs Summer Basketball Camps include special guest appearances with current and former Spurs players, coaches, or Coyote. As part of registration, each camper will receive a digital memory that includes a picture of the athlete with a Spurs championship trophy and a Spurs Camp team photo featuring their teammates and camp coach.

The fun does not stop there. Six different sessions are available for San Antonio or Austin campers, including an all-girls camp, a Coyote Camp, a Spurs overnight camp, and more.
