John Jay HS student struck by vehicle in front of campus, district says

A vehicle struck a John Jay High School student in front of the campus Tuesday afternoon, sending him to the hospital with unknown injuries.

SAN ANTONIO — A student from John Jay High School was hit by a vehicle right next to the school Tuesday afternoon, according to a statement from Northside ISD. 

The district said an eleventh grade boy was struck by an unidentified vehicle while in front of the campus on Marbach Road around 2 p.m. The boy was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The condition of the student is currently unknown. 

San Antonio police are investigating.
