
The 100 Club of San Antonio seeks 200 volunteers for its 27th annual Spaghetti Dinner event.
SAN ANTONIO — Want to roll some meatballs for a good cause?
The 100 Club of San Antonio is in need of volunteers for their 27th annual Spaghetti Dinner event. The organization posted on Facebook about needing over 200 volunteers to help roll about 20,000 meatballs before the dinner from October 8-10 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and during the event – taking place on October 11-12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The annual event will be held at the Christopher Columbus Italian Society, located at 201 Piazza Italia. Guests will be able to enjoy a delicious plate of spaghetti and meatballs while supporting local first responders and families of fallen heroes. Plates are available for $15 each. All proceeds go directly to the children of fallen first responders in San Antonio and Bexar County.
The 100 Club of San Antonio is 100% funded through contributions and is a nonprofit organization that serves local, state and federal law enforcement and firefighters in Bexar County.
