Judson ISD superintendent placed on leave, district says

Judson ISD says Superintendent Dr. Milton “Rob” Fields III has been placed on paid administrative leave.

SAN ANTONIO — Judson Independent School District leaders announced Saturday that Superintendent Dr. Milton “Rob” Fields III has been placed on administrative leave with pay.

The decision was made during the school board’s meeting, according to a statement from the district.

District officials say Dr. Lacey Gosch will step in as acting superintendent until further notice.

Because the matter involves confidential personnel issues, the district says it will not release additional details.

In its statement, Judson ISD emphasized that operations will continue as normal.

“The district remains focused on the core functions of serving students, supporting staff, and maintaining a stable learning environment for the community,” officials said.

No timeline has been given for how long the administrative leave will last.
