SAN ANTONIO — Jury selection is set to get underway Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. in the case connected to the murders of Savanah Soto, her unborn child, and Matthew Guerra.
Myrta Romanos is charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
In 2023, Soto and Guerra were found shot and killed inside a car.
Romanos’ stepson, Christopher Preciado, is accused of shooting them and investigators say his father helped hide the bodies.
Once the jury is selected, the trial is expected to begin the following day.
