KERR COUNTY, Texas — Friday marks exactly three weeks since the Guadalupe River surged, killing more than a hundred people, 37 of them children.
To help with recovery, Kerr County is hosting another informational meeting for residents Friday morning.
The informational community recovery workshop is just another resource for residents dealing with the flood aftermath.
Several organizations are going to be there, including LiftFund, which gives small businesses loans, and the Kerr Economic Development Corporation, another resource for small businesses.
In addition, FEMA and area chambers of commerce will also be at the meeting.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Kerr County Courthouse.
Because there is limited seating, the recovery workshop will be livestreamed on the official Kerr County YouTube page.
