LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Yum! Brands is moving 100 corporate employees from KFC U.S. in Kentucky to Texas.
On Tuesday, the company said it plans to designate two brand headquarters in the U.S., located in Plano, Texas, and Irvine, California, to “foster greater collaboration among brands and employees.”
This decision involves relocating 100 KFC U.S. corporate office employees who currently work in Louisville to the KFC and Pizza Hut Global headquarters in Plano, Texas.
Also, U.S.-based remote employees will be asked to return to the office where their work happens.
This move will impact 100 corporate employees and an additional 90 remote employees.
The company said Yum! Brands and the KFC Foundation will maintain corporate offices in Louisville.
The relocation of corporate roles is expected to be complete in six months while the relocation of remote positions will be complete in 18 months.
They say employees will receive relocation and transition support throughout the relocation process.
