Sanchez died while being transported to the hospital following the chaos at the casino. A GoFundMe has been set up by her husband. Eagle Pass Mayor Aaron Valdez posted a picture on Facebook of Antley praising his generosity and leadership within the community.
Authorities said of the five people injured in the shooting, two were taken to University Hospital in San Antonio. A 22-year-old woman was treated and released while officials say as of Monday evening, doctors are still caring for a 59-year-old woman who’s listed in fair condition.
