
Police say the man had been shot and found near the single-vehicle crash in the area of Roy Reynolds Drive and E. Rancier Avenue
KILLEEN, Texas — A Central Texas man is dead after being shot and found near a motorcycle crash in the area of Roy Reynolds Drive and E. Rancier Avenue on Saturday morning.
According to the Killeen Police Department, law enforcement was called to the area at 2:36 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 because of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcyle.
Officers found the man, who had been shot, at the scene and began life-saving measures.
The man was taken to Carl R. Darnell Army Community Hospital. He died while receiving medical attention and was officially pronounced dead at 3:28 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson.
Law enforcement has refrained from releasing the identity of the individual at this time.
