Mitch Johnson:

“The ball was sticking a little bit in the first half. They (Kings) crushed us on the boards. They made some shots. That’s a bad recipe and so we dug ourselves in the hole. I was very happy with the response out of the third quarter. I thought we cleaned up some of the offense. We missed some really good looks. I felt like thought we fought better on the boards.”

“I think we stayed resilient the third quarter, probably the start of the third quarter, they (Kings) made a lot of shots. They came out pretty hot, but I think we weathered the storm kind of like we wanted to, putting ourselves in a position to turn the game.”

“I think we got good shots. I just think we didn’t make them, and I think our first line of defense was okay, and then anytime they missed, it was offensive rebound. A dagger three, which is what they (Kings) preach all the time, and they did a good job of it tonight.”
