Kings’ De’Aaron Fox brings top high school San Antonio women’s basketball players for help at his camp

Fox is dipping into San Antonio’s top high school basketball stars for help at his kid’s camp.

SAN ANTONIO — Sacramento Kings’ De’Aaron Fox knows a thing or two about San Antonio basketball talent, taking on the San Antonio Spurs four times each season.

However, he is dipping into the city’s other top basketball stars for help at his kid’s camp.

The Kings All-Star recently spoke at his kid’s basketball camp and announced that he flew two San Antonio high school women’s basketball stars, Wagner High School’s Leonna Sneed and Brennan High School’s Bella Flemings, to Sacramento to help at his camp and get them national exposure.

“We have three top-25 players here that are helping run the camp,” he said. “Two out of San Antonio and one out of Dallas.”

“I wanted to get their faces out here, and we see the new surge of women’s basketball in the media that is covering it now.”

This is an incredible opportunity for the two young female athletes, and it should help them grow their names and develop their skills on the court.

Sneed plays point guard at Wagner and has offers from top schools, such as SMU, Auburn, and Kansas State. She is ranked the No. 26 overall women’s basketball recruit in the 2025 recruiting class by espnW.

In her junior season with Wagner, she averaged a team-leading 22.7 points per game, 6.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, and 4.4 steals.

“My family and I decided that we were going to take all of these visits just because there’s a lot of pros and cons of all the schools,” she said to 247 Sports. “After I take all of them, we’ll go over the pros and cons to see which is best for me.”

Flemings is a junior at Brennan, and she’s the No. 12 rated prospect nationally, according to ESPN’s HoopGurlz.

She averaged 16.3 points per game, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in her sophomore season. In the 6A Regional Final, Flemings scored 47 points to help Brennan beat the defending 6A state champions Clark Cougars.
