La Panadería is expanding to San Antonio’s far west side with a new café in Alamo Ranch, expected to debut in fall 2026.
SAN ANTONIO — One of San Antonio’s most popular bakery cafés is heading to the city’s fast-growing west side.
La Panadería announced plans for a new location at Culebra Commons in the Alamo Ranch area, with an opening scheduled for late fall 2026, according to a press release.
The new café will be located along West Loop 1604 North and will feature the brand’s full menu of Mexican pastries, tortas and brunch favorites, along with a cocktail menu and covered outdoor patio, the company said.
“We’ve always believed in growing thoughtfully and with our guests in mind,” co-owner José Cáceres. “Culebra Commons is an exciting development in the Alamo Ranch area and we’re thrilled to bring La Panadería to this dynamic and fast-growing community.”
Known for its freshly-baked Mexican pastries, the James Beard-nominated restaurant has built a loyal following across the city with its breakfast offerings and café-style atmosphere.
The new location in Alamo Ranch will continue that tradition while adding craft cocktails, a feature that has become increasingly popular at some of the brand’s newer spaces.
La Panadería said an official grand opening date will be announced closer to the fall debut.
