La Panadería to open largest location in Stone Oak this fall

The new restaurant will offer 100 dedicated parking spaces for customers.

SAN ANTONIO — A beloved San Antonio bakery is expanding to the far north side of San Antonio in the late fall.

On Wednesday, La Panadería announced they will be opening their largest location in Stone Oak later this year.

The restaurant will be located at 1011 North Loop 1604 East, and is estimated to be more than 6,000 square feet, providing customers with 100 dedicated parking spaces. There will also be a covered outdoor patio area.

“We’ve always believed in growing thoughtfully and with our guests in mind,” said co-owner Jose Cáceres. “Stone Oak is a vibrant and growing area, and we’re excited to bring La Panadería to a new part of the city.”

The James Beard nominated cafe, known for its unique pan dulce, will feature the bakery’s full menu with the addition of new cocktail drinks.

According to La Panadería, the new location will continue the tradition of “handcrafted Mexican and European-inspired pastries, savory tortas, and hearty brunch favorites.”

The official opening date was not provided but is expected to be announced as the fall season nears.
