SAN ANTONIO — La Semana Alegre is now an official Fiesta San Antonio event and unveiled its lineup Thursday.
The two-day music festival returns to Hemisfair on April 23-24, transforming downtown into what organizers call a “party in the park.”
Inspired by the legacy of the original event, La Semana Alegre has grown into a popular Fiesta-season music festival known for blending nostalgia, culture and community.
Organizers said proceeds from the event benefit the Hemisfair Conservancy.
This year’s festival will feature two stages of live music, Fiesta-inspired food, market vendors and interactive activities throughout Hemisfair.
Thursday night, April 23, will spotlight 1980s throwbacks alongside San Antonio favorites. Friday night will close the festival with indie, electronic and Latin-influenced artists. For a full musical lineup, click here.
