SAN ANTONIO — Lakers Gaming, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers, took home the 2024 NBA 2K League 3v3 title after sweeping Magic Gaming 3-0 in a five-game series.
It is the franchise’s first NBA 2K League 3v3 championship. In March, Lakers Gaming also claimed the 3v3 NBA 2KL SLAM OPEN tournament championship, the first of three in-season 3v3 tournaments.
The league announced that point guard Dhwan “ShiftyKaii” White was named the 2024 NBA 2K League 3v3 Finals MVP after averaging 6.3 points and 4.0 assists during the Finals (games played to 21). Center Arshia “Krazy” Karimi added 8.0 points and 2.7 rebounds. 2019 Champion with T-Wolves Gaming, Lakers Gaming Head Coach Brian “Nacho” Traynor becomes the first person to win an NBA 2K League championship as both a player and a coach.
