Italian sports car lovers in San Antonio are in for a treat as recent construction plans reveal that a luxury dealership is going to be built in the Far Northside. Lamborghini is building a two-story dealership for the eccentric Italian sports car brand outside of Fair Oaks Ranch, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The filing says the planned 40,727-square-foot dealership will be located at 27605 I-10 W., San Antonio, TX 78006, which is just a few miles north of the million-dollar-home community known as Dominion, where homes are sold at a median price between $600,000 to $1.2 million. The project, listed simply as “Lamborghini San Antonio,” has an estimated cost of $10 million.
San Antonio currently has one other Italian sports car dealership, Ferrari of San Antonio, which is not far from where the Lamborghini dealership will be built on I-10. A quick Google search reveals that Lamborghinis are only sold used at several other dealerships like Mark Motors and Supercars of San Antonio.
Kelley Blue Book has Lamborghinis, like the high-end 2022 Aventador model, listed for as much as $864,749 and as low as $215,000 for an older 2020 model.
The Lamborghini dealership is also going around other luxury car sellers like Audi Dominion and North Park Lexus at Dominion. The only other Lamborghini dealerships in Texas are in Dallas, Austin, and Houston.
