SAN ANTONIO — Taco lovers may want to mark their calendars: Las Palapas is celebrating its 45th anniversary on Tuesday with 45-cent bean and cheese tacos for loyalty members, according to the restaurant.
The promotion is available Feb. 17 only for Las Palapas LP Club members at all locations, with a limit of 10 tacos per person, the company said in a social media announcement. Customers can order through the app, drive-thru, dine-in or to-go.
Las Palapas, which first opened in 1981, said the anniversary deal is a way to thank customers who have supported the brand for decades.
“Since 1981, we’ve been rolling tortillas, making salsa from scratch, and feeding the families that made us who we are,” the company said in its post. “Now it’s our turn to say thank you.”
The LP Club loyalty program is free to join through the Las Palapas website or mobile app, according to the company. Members earn points on purchases and receive access to member-only specials offered weekly.
