SAN ANTONIO — Authorities in Atascosa County say they’re searching for a convicted man after he violated parole and “fled from law enforcement” Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff David Soward identified the man as Adolfo Garcia in a Facebook post, saying he was convicted of robbery. Deputies are now looking for him, resulting in a “heavy law enforcement presence” near State Highway 97 and Witten Road, which is near the Wilson County line about nine miles east of Pleasanton.
Soward warned the public not to approach Garcia if he’s spotted, but to instead call 911.
