SAN ANTONIO โ For those about to rock… we salute you!
AC/DC, the Aussie hard rockers and engineers of hits like “Thunderstruck,” “Back In Black” and “Highway to Hell,” announced they’re bringing their “Power Up Tour” to the Alamo City next summer. They’ll be joined by special guest The Pretty Reckless for a July 24 show at the Alamodome.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. The AC/DC show joins a lineup of 2026 events at San Antonio’s biggest venue that also includes visits from Iron Maiden and My Chemical Romance.

AC/DC is in their sixth decade of touring, with guitarist and founding member Angus Young still hitting the stage to lead the band in some of the genre’s most well-known barnburners. Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams, Brian Johnson and Stevie Young round out the current iteration of the group, which has pumped out 17 studio albums. Their most recent, 2020’s “Power Up,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
